The history of hemp

Hemp is a plant native to the Asian continent that has been used in alternative medicine for thousands of years. In fact, it was one of the first plants domesticated by man.

Before it was used in food, and the benefits of hemp seed were discovered, in China 600 BC it was used to make clothes from its fiber.

Today, it's found on the plates of every self-respecting sportsman and naturopath.

The benefits of hemp seed

With just one tablespoon a day of shelled hemp seed (20 grams), you'll have met the daily requirement of essential fatty acids recommended by the WHO.

This seed is very well assimilated by our bodies, unlike other rather inflammatory ingredients (e.g. white rice, pasta...).

It is known to offer numerous benefits, notably on skin quality thanks to its highly concentrated essential fatty acid content, but also on stress and hormonal balance.

Hemp seed contains omega 3, which is thought to influence the development of the nervous system in pregnant women. this seed can be widely considered an ultra-complete food on all levels.

Directions for use :

Chew naturally

Sprinkle in salads, smoothies, yoghurts..

Blend into plant milk

Store in a cool, dry place

THE SHELLED HEMP SEED IS FREED FROM ITS SHELL BY A MECHANICAL PROCESS. THE NUTRIENT INTAKE CHANGES: LESS FIBER AND CARBOHYDRATES, FOR A LITTLE MORE PROTEIN AND ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS.
