What is a feminized seed?

First of all, it's important to know that female plants are the only cannabis plants to supply and develop flowers rich in cannabinoids such as THC or CBD.

Feminized seeds have been genetically modified to produce exclusively 99.9% female plants.

A feminized seed contains no male chromosomes in its genes. Once planted, it will produce only female seeds. Ideal for rapid, high-quality cultivation. Feminized seeds are created by forcing a female plant to form male seeds.

Characteristics of feminized seeds:

-Enhanced aromas and effects, giving rise to a plant rich in cannabinoids.

- Feminized seeds are photoperiodic: their growth depends on a precise light cycle.

Sativa, Indica or Hybrid, what's the difference?

These are cannabis subspecies. The two main species categories are Indica and Sativa, and today there are also hybrid species.

What are the differences between these cannabis subspecies?

Indica: its flowering is shorter and bushier, and its leaves are broad. It's a fairly robust species and can thrive in many environments.

Sativa: Sativas need a lot of sun to flower well. It has long, thin leaves. Its plant will be taller than the Indica species. It thrives in a warm climate, with a longer flowering time.

Today, most cannabis varieties are rarely pure Indica or Sativa. Instead, we mainly find cannabis species known as hybrids, which combine a certain percentage of Indica and Sativa.

Self-flowering vs. feminized seeds

The main difference between a classic feminized seed and a so-called auto-flowering seed is its transition to flowering after its growth cycle.

Self-flowering strains flower automatically, while feminized strains always require some work on the plant, monitoring its sunlight and nutrient requirements. We call this a photoperiodic plant.

An auto-flowering flower can produce several harvests in a single season, since it is not dependent on the light cycle.

in terms of production yields, both will give a good quantity of flowers. But a feminized flower on which special care has been taken will naturally have more buds and a very resinous crop.

In short, if you're new to cannabis growing, it's a good idea to start with an auto-flowering seed.

If you like a challenge, go for feminized seeds and give them all the care they need to bud and offer you a good quantity of CBD flowers.

Please note: the cannabis seeds offered by Deli Hemp are auto-flowering and feminized.

How do I germinate my auto-flowering seed?

there are two ways to germinate your seeds:

1.Place it in damp paper or in a glass of water to allow it to germinate.

2. Plant them directly in the ground, or in their final pot

Tip: Don't repot your self-flowering seeds, as this could slow down the plant's already limited growth. And impoverish its production.

Sativa, Indica or Hybrid, what's the difference?

These are cannabis subspecies. The two main species categories areIndica and Sativa, and today there are also so-called hybrid species.

What are the differences between these cannabis subspecies?

Indica: its flowering is shorter and bushier, and its leaves are broad. It's a fairly robust species and can thrive in many environments.

Sativa: Sativas need a lot of sun to flower well.

Instead, we mainly find so-called hybrid cannabis species, which combine a certain percentage of Indica and Sativa.

Jack Horreur Automatic, an easy-to-grow strain

Jack Horreur, better known as Jack Herer, is a cross between Northern Light and Haze, and can be grown anywhere.

It's one of the most iconic genetics in the legal cannabis sector.

Its self-flowering format is easy to grow while retaining its potency and Indica-dominant effects (60% Indica - 40% Sativa). After 7 to 9 weeks, they'll be ready to harvest, yielding around 250g per plant and reaching up to 80cm in height, which is handy if you want to keep a low profile on your CBD plants or have limited growing space.

This plant is slightly smaller, but yields just as generously. it can be grown both indoors and outdoors, and reaches a CBD intensity of 5/10.

Jack Horreur, a powerful variety in aroma and effect.

Lemon aromas combined with pine scents. Jack has beautiful, compact buds, a powerful smell and lots of orange filaments with a lovely green color. Lemon, citrus and pine aromas are present.

Its inflorescence is compact and rather round in shape, orange in color with numerous filaments and trichromes

Collectors' seeds are forbidden to germinate. Please check the legislation in force in your country of residence. Deli Hemp will not be held responsible for any illegal use of our seeds.
