A Full Spectrum CBD candle is not quite like a conventional candle. To control the effect, you need to master its combustion. We generally recommend lighting a CBD candle for a short period of time (between 5 and 15 minutes) and then extinguishing it to let the scent diffuse serenely. Then it's up to you to judge whether the effect is sufficient or whether you prefer to leave it on for longer.

What is a CBD candle?

The "forbidden scent" CBD candle is a candle to which we've added cannabidiol oil in addition to vegetable soy wax. To this wax, we add cannabidiol oil so that this substance is diffused during combustion, and so that it can be inhaled. Our CBD candles contain around 30mg, so you can enjoy all the benefits of CBD through CBD combustion.

Does the CBD candle have psychoactive effects?

When we think of cannabis-based candles, the first cliché is to think that their fragrance could have psychoactive effects and thus disturb our state of consciousness. Well, cannabidiol is a molecule derived from the hemp plant, but it has nothing in common with its cousin THC (which is responsible for feelings of euphoria or drunkenness). These two cannabinoid molecules do have similarities, but their effects are nothing alike. So, no, inhaling cannabidiol doesn't make you "stoned". CBD is authorized for sale in France and Europe, provided it complies with a strict rule: products containing it must be extracted from hemp plants with a THC content of less than 0.2%. This makes CBD candles perfectly legal. So lighting a CBD candle in your home won't produce any undesirable effects - on the contrary, you'll reap the benefits!
